Re: Does Anyone Have Dentinogenesis Imperfecta?

I 'm a 37 year old female with DI. I can trace it back 5 generations. 2 of 3 of my children have it as well. I've has veneers on my front teeth now for 17 years with little problems until recently . Endodontist wants to do an Apicoectomy for an abscess on tooth #7. As much as I would love to save the tooth, I'm reluctant as It is expensive and ultimately it will need to be extracted. I already have 1 implant on #30. I would love to sign any petition to help people like us with this genetic condition. I don't think we should have to suffer the pain of infected teeth and have to pay the huge dental bills. FYI, I have had great luck with the kids getting fantastic treatment at UCSF Pediatrics. Tweet
