Yes I read that. I would have to study deeper to see whether what I believe today is the same as what Lacunza taught. Haven't gotten that far yet. There may be a reason people have departed from the original teachings somewhat.
I realize there are very intelligent people who have studied such things, but I'm not a big fan of all the church fathers, so to speak. I don't believe that I have to study "their" teachings to have understanding. Now before you think I'm being arrogant to say such a thing, because I'm fully aware there is much more for me to learn, I want to say that I believe like all protestants should believe, and that is that we are perfectly able to study the bible with the help of the Holy Spirit to understand what is meant to be understood at this time. Perhaps that is considered foolishness by some, I don't know. It does cause me to rely on Faith more and not man. Just because something was taught long, long ago does not mean it has more truth in it than what is being revealed today.
