Loquat1, I just hunted up all those scriptures that you gave. These are all scriptures warning against false prophets and teachers. They have nothing to do with the true prophets of God. What about all the scriptures that talk about God's true prophets? What about scriptures that say God has set some to be prophets? You can't take scripture out of context of the whole Bible and expect to come up with truth. The Bible also talks about discernment and examination of these things. The Bible does not tell us to run from true prophets and teachers of God just because satan has false ones out there deceiving people. God has His workers in this world too. We need to personally learn how to seek God for ourselves, but we don't throw away God's true workers. He has them in this world for good reasons.
