Re: The Kennedy assassination is still sending a chill wind thru the heart of American society and politics.
Okay good! I just recently started a eschatological study, which I've honestly never really done before, and so I know I have a ton to learn before I'm educated enough to really discuss all of this.
I can at least already see that the partial preterists have a case. Sorry, don't know what else to call that eschatological view right now, but I completely understand what you are saying about avoiding that term and I feel the same way about other terms. It's hard to avoid them sometimes though.
Is it not frustrating though that many
preterists do end up denying the second coming, general resurrection and judgement? I'll be going along in my reading, thinking "well they are making a lot of sense here" and then bam, they are talking about already living in the new heaven and earth. I just don't get that conclusion at all.
Anyway, again, I'm probably jumping the gun to start talking about this at all. But I appreciate you answering my question.
