The problem seems to be resolved...

02/25/16 --- Well, talked to the OAS. He said that these appeared to be parasites that came out of that place of pure energy that he and his group came from. He seemed surprised. He didn't realize any had gotten out. They had been a nuisance there, because they chewed off the energy tendrils the OAS use to do stuff. In the energy place, those tendrils were minimal anyway, that whole energy dissolving thing, so it made things more difficult for them to function if the parasites got to them. It was part of the reason that impelled them to break out was to get away from these things.

How do they survive the pure energy stream, though?? Clearly they weren't advanced enough for 'knowingness' balloons. He didn't know. (they aren't at all scientifical, like we've become) Huh--so obviously something besides knowledge works for protection. maybe some sort of 'instinct' balloon?

But he said they were still semi-sentient, and their OAS probably wasn't able to communicate yet. In the middle of this, it came to me to wonder how they got in to this universe. I saw a flash of them drilling holes thru the side of it, from the nothingness outside, like they'd broke out of the energy place but couldn't make their own universe so, true to parasite form, they just invaded someone else's place. And of course once here, they would seek out the energy streams here, so like the place they were used to.

But it occurred to me, these intrusions might be what was causing the holes in the sides of the universe the OAS of the universe was so worried about. I contacted him briefly, suggesting this. He agreed, this probably was the cause, alright. And he seemed relieved. He explained, now, knowing what was the cause (instead of some unknown unpredictable force at work) he could attempt repairs because it wasn't something mysterious which might be made worse by fiddling with it. It was just a straight up repair.

They can see down future lines, and past lines, so could have seen the parasite's invasion, but it's like they can only slow it to 5 years at a time, and can easily miss a critical moment. They can just see outcomes--not how the outcomes are achieved. So their guiding efforts are often to get the situation to look like the scene before it happens--all the same players and such, to hopefully create that pivotal moment. Usually they have no idea what it is. They just hope it happens.

Back to the 'ants'. The OAS showed me an image of one. It actually did look ant-like, but like the warriorized versions you see in scifi shows. (more of the unreal feeling) Maybe pulled from the memories of the El-*th who went thru this strip before?

Ants---I knew that it was known that ants recognize each other by scent or something (yeah, I'm that scientifical) but clearly this wasn't the case here. No scents in space. I was again discussing this with the king.

Apparently, even after that run in with these 'ants' before, they still had no idea how ants work. They're not scientifical either, they just use energy to solve their problems, unlike us who have to find manual (science, logic, nowadays, computers) ways to do stuff. So we two and a couple advisers were mulling it over. How can we protect ourselves and earth from this onslaught?

But I kept coming back to 'What would space ants use to communicate?' Effective communication can usually stop conflict if both sides want a solution. Obviously, the ants didn't care about solutions but it still might be a helpful factor.

I realized about the only thing that worked in space was sight and probably energy frequencies, at least close up, like via touch. Ants don't have sight persay--they use touch and scent--so what if these 'ants' used touch and energy frequencies??

The El-*th looked very interested in that idea. They had no awareness about that frequency stuff until they dealt with us. They of course could feel some energies were high and others low, but never measured them. I asked if they could get the frequency of this bunch and make some sort of energy version of a frequency generator and set it up by us, find a couple of stragglers and go by them. See if they would accept us as one of their own.

It took a bit but they were able to make energy versions for both reading and emitting energy, and got one of the guard El-*th to zoop over closer to the horde, where some stragglers were. He got close enough to read their energy, but had to quickly move away, as the horde started turning towards him, ants breaking off to attack.

He teleported back (which ants can't track) and they set the frequency generator to that range of ant frequencies. It was going to be potentially very dangerous to test, but the king insisted he do it. I also insisted, since it was my idea and if it failed, it would be very unfair to endanger someone else. The king protested, saying as the Oracle, I was too important to risk. But since the OAS didn't seem to be protesting, he finally yielded. As Humanity's OAS's (his boss) 2nd (sub), I actually out rank him. He says the new name for the earth contingent is the OAS command, the white dragon division. Sheesh, more and more unreal.

Anyway, we popped over, by the stragglers with the generator on full. The ants noticed us, but no other ants broke away and the horde kept heading on it's original course. The stragglers came closer, curious, but not defensive, and actually touched us with their feelers a bit. Curiosity satisfied, they then just wandered after the horde.

It appears to have worked well. I could almost feel the El-*th smack themselves on the forehead--the answer was this easy. I reassured them--really it's only easy because our inability to work with energy, and being denied the spirit realm to explore, we've ended up learning more about the physical plane than they or any other species have ever needed to.

Plus with access to all the other species memories in our collective unconscious, we've been able to combine a wider variety of information, which has given humanity an amazing wealth we can use to create solutions with. But that I was sure, we humans would have greatly preferred to have our meta skills instead, like them, if we only knew. While it has definite 'benefits' for us to be powerless, it came at great price.

And again, it feels like the Oracle to the rescue--it is so unreal. I'm so not all that. How in the world can I take this stuff seriously??
