The overarching sentience sent me a sign, since I wanted a bit of reassurance.I thought maybe a lightening bolt. I'm pretty sure at least one fellow can attest to her ability to do that, costing him his computer and the wiring in his house, from 3 direct strikes, but he may not want to say.
My sweetie and I were on our way to lunch Sunday, when we saw this perfect bright piece of rainbow, against a dark bank of clouds. Not the whole thing. Just one chunk right in front of us. I couldn't see any breaks in the clouds where the light could have been shining thru to make this.
It stay bright for a few seconds and then faded immediately away before we got to the bottom of the hill and turned the corner. No rainbows anywhere else for the rest of the day.
The timing and location was was impeccable. It couldn't have better. I know it was for me. :) I've never seen just a brilliant piece like that before.
Then, this morning I had a dream. It's the first one I've been able to see as a dream sent by Celeste. My dreams have always been weird but usually broken up with no plot, just little episodes of rational.
This time a bunch of folks, and me and my sweetie were standing around waiting for something, scattered, some up on the stairs to see better, dressed in everything from fancy evening wear, to pajamas. Then a gal came from somewhere and instructed us to turn in our coats. It was sorta chilly but every one did albeit with grumbles.
She then lead us over to a pen where kittens, puppies and other baby animals were playing and told us to pick which ones we wanted to kill and make our new coat from. I was shocked and wondered why they wanted us to do such a horrible thing. I even said how easy this should be, considering my dragon rider origins.
The guide smiled and nodded, and like usual, the folks in the group looked at me like I was nuts or something. I petted the adorable little animals for a while, while others chose their desired ones. There was folks walking around with fur coats, one quite fancy with white and brown fur and a hood with strings that ended with a fluff ball.
I just couldn't bear to chose one, nor my sweetie. Finally, I pulled one of the guides aside and asked if I couldn't just make it from cloth or something instead. She bust into this huge grin and said, "Of course you can" and I realized that was what they were doing. Seeing if you'd grown enough to put life above your own comfort.
And then this lightening rumbling started and I instinctively huddled down, but the guide stood and pointed up. Smiling and saying 'Oh look, she's peeking thru. Do you see her?'
And I looked up and sure enough there was this crackly purple lightening ball behind a little cloud. I smiled and gave a little wave, and she sent out a couple little bolts in return. When I waved though the other folks turned to stare at me, again. I don't think they saw her wave back.
The guides took us to the cafeteria next where every one stood in line and picked out food. I had some sort of sandwich thing, but as they were ready to hand it to me, they poured banana syrup all over it. Yuck! I asked why in heck did they do that, and the kitchen staff just smiled.
My sweetie got an ice cream cone and they poured tuna juice on his. At that point, as we walked to the seating area, I got the feeling I was dead now. I asked my sweetie, and he said, yeah, that was why he was here too. He just didn't see any reason to go on, and I woke up.
In that almost awake state, I figured out why the guide smiled when I asked to make my coat from cloth, not animals, and why they put such weird stuff on the food.
By that time, I was awake and confirmed that as a sent dream, that it was a test for judging how far along you were with valuing other life and that the weird flavor stuff was to keep people from just settling at that level.
It was too unpleasant to want to hang around, so you'd keep moving on to the next level, hopefully with better food, and more different tests, as information about your spirit progress, for better figuring out where your next life needed to be. Based on your actual behavior, not what you'll think you believe.
And then I realized that's how she can send information not specifically asked for. In the dream state, if your brain can't handle it, it just ignores it. A conscious brain doesn't
And another bit of info popped thru as I was remembering that the animal spirits wait too, to share the pain, when it hit me. So do all the loved ones of whoever you hurt, especially if you killed them, even at war.
It was one of the real reasons women didn't fight. With their increased ability to connect, they usually had more loved ones who'd come and share their pain of losing them, than a man did. Kids too. So it's instinctive to want to avoid that pain of their loved ones suffering, even today. The real reason most will hesitate to kill women and children.
Although the hybrids finally managed to make people forget that too, by instilling in women, we deserve to fight for our country too.
So Plenty to post today, eh?
