good job!

Hi SN!
It is very inspiring to hear that your fasting improves old injuries. I am fasting for similar reasons, but have had rather modest improvements. I came to the conclusion that for me it is going to come through long fasts.
Good that you have the awareness of what SAD does to our bodies. People who we think kind of tolerate it, just do not make the connection between SAD and being low in energy and health. But surely, it affects everyone, since it is depleted, modified and processed food.
I have been strong on not taking pain medication, since I know for sure that NSAIDs impair the regeneration and I need it so badly. I was just sipping a drink today and came to the "truth" - I've never given my body a real break. So ... obviously I have to do it, in order for it to restore not just partially, but fully. I am so tired of being in sub-optimal, and very uncomfortable zone. Aches and pains. I hope to make them go away timely. I am aiming at a longish fast - just need to make sure I plan ahead few weeks so I can rest when needed. I am going to work from home at that time.
I admire your fasting, while in ER. I know the challenge of having to perform, when the matter is one of life-and-death.
Cheers,
DL
