I have been eating fresh, raw vegetables dressed with flaxseed oil or olive oil, with protein from eggs (laid by happy hens, as I appreciate chickens very much. Happy chickens work so hard for us). I have also been eating apples and cherries and drinking lots of water. Essentially, I've been on a salad kick.
I have also been steaming my vegetables, as I enjoy hot foots when not at work. The wake-up call came after my body flat-out rejected the grease and oil from a pizza, and then (when I didn't "hear" that), bricked up for a week post-stromboli. Very painful. I used to struggle with Chron's, which was resolved by clean eating, and I didn't want to go back to that painful situation. Looks like that's just my thing--I cannot tolerate a SAD.
Because I used to compete in powerlifting, my healing crises all center around bone and muscle pain as old insults are addressed. I expect the next ten days are going to be illuminating. I already had one bizarre phantom pain episode at work the day before yesterday (I've been at 1100 calories, therefore dipping into ketosis/release), wherein my right shoulder ached abominably, but was not tender to palpation! I dunno if that was my liver having a spasm or if I have some old muscle strain---either is possible.
