My Asthma symptoms drastically improved the first week, I started noting some improvement in joint pain in the first week but it continued to improve through the following weeks (total 23 days). For at least 3 years prior to the fast I always had shoulder pain and hip pain ( at least a 3 on a scale of 1-10). I had to stop running completely. After the fast I would go months with out even feeling any pain but when I did start running again I felt a bit, It comes and gos and I can still run. But by far much , much better! Im not really sure how everyone else benefits from fasting and joint pain , but from what I understand , it appears that if the pain is a result of an auto immune disorder it responds more favorably from Water Fasting as opposed to osteoarthritis .
