What Peelstation means is that the layer of skin isn't a scab at all but your actual good skin that you used to have but now it's horribly weakened and deformed with all the longterm trauma and it desperatly keeps trying to grow back but unfortunatly it's f***ed! Weakened, deformed, ravaged skin! Keeps trying to recyle itself cause thats what skin does but it's f***ed mate.

Even if you went into a coma and never touched your lips for years they might not even heal cause they're so f***ed that it doesn't really matter! The line of no return was crossed big time!

I agree with Peelstation, i also worked that out years ago aswell but this condition plays tricks with your mind that sometimes you even doubt yourself at times!

So Healed9000 I'm not gonna say your wrong or anything cause you never know! But what i will say is that everyone who claims to be cured with the constant moisture or 3 times a day moisture still uses chapstick or creams. That raises alarm bells big time!

If your cured you shouldn't have to use creams or lick your lips like lenny the lizard or whatever.

Crusts or no crusts if your skin is still dry and irritated for the rest of your life then you're not cured.
