Re: update update update update

Hey bro!

Cheers for the update. Hmm, okay. This new skin that you’re reporting, I still haven’t experienced. Basically, there’s nothing really to exfoliate off at the moment. No ‘dead’ skin is coming off when I exfoliate after brushing my teeth, which is a good sign.

Now, after I exfoliate, I let my lips dry ever so slightly and the skin that’s there does look really healthy, and I am intrigued as to how they would look if I didn’t immediately slather them with aquaphor, but I daren’t make that move. From what you’ve said, I feel it’s too early to make a drastic change like that. So I’m going to keep them covered as much as possible, and keep this going for as long as possible.

Also, my bottom lip seems to be seeing better progress than my top lip. I have 2 deep grooves on the dreaded middle section of my upper lip, where 3+ separate squares of skin form. When I exfoliate here, tiny pieces of skin actually come off. I think it will need extra attention, and I’ll have to keep applying liberally to that area.
I’m also particularly nervous for the weekend coming. Going to see my girlfriend, will be some kissing. I’ve told her what to expect already, and that she’s gonna have to control herself and back off and kiss me very gently LOL.

And no, my lips aren’t inflamed. No pain. No swelling. Also, yeah, they feel elastic too. In the past when I had the scabs, I’d always be very aware of them starting to split when smiling. Although I still am aware of this (out of habit and fear mostly), I don’t think I need to worry, because the skin does seem a lot more flexible. Super soft too.

Keep the updates coming brother. I’m so happy you’ve seen the progress you have! Feel free to upload a pic soon to shut the haters up.
