Hey man, another update...
I don't want to jump the gun again, but it seems like I have yet another layer of skin on my lip--and this seems to be the last of the whole ordeal. What I did, and I don't know if this is the best way to go about this yet, is I continued brushing off any part of the layer of dead skin that came off willingly. Everything else I left alone and just slathered aquaphor over. Maybe you should just leave it for better, or quicker, results? I'm not sure about this--it's your call. All I know is that I woke up this morning (well evening actually, since I work the night shift) and it seems as if the new layer of skin had finished growing. So far so good--no buildup whatsoever. I'm guessing my original assumption--about the epidermis--might have been the correct one.
It's too soon to tell though, so I'll definitely let you know within the next few days. I'm sure I was right about this taking a MAXIMUM of 2 weeks to heal completely--no other wound takes longer than that.
You, too, should have definitive answers within 9-10 days. I'm glad you're taking pictures, and I'm overjoyed you're seeing results. We have this shit beat man, I'm sure of it. If I'm right, we could change the goddamn medical books (in a tiny way, but hey, that's very exciting, if you ask me).
Are your lips still inflamed? In pain? Any swelling at all? By the fifth day my lips were a normal size and felt more elastic than they ever had before. I hope you're seeing the same thing.
Healed9000 bro since when did you have this condition(mention year please) and when did you started moisture method?

I am doing this constant moisture method. From 4 months i am doing this and I am getting better but the scab is there.
