I haven't eaten meat in around 7-8 years, so I haven't had the chance to compare vegan/vegetarian cleansing to omnivorous cleansing, though I will be experimenting in the near future, eating meat. I've lost quite a bit of weight and am pretty twiggy in terms of muscles
In my opinion if you eat a lot of vegetables/fruits, your GI system will move fast either way, which is the important thing. I could be wrong though, I will update everyone as I experiment. My opinion is cooked veggies is better than raw, as humans don't break down plant cellulose adequately like an animal that is a true herbivore
If you eat a lot of beans/grains/nuts always research the best ways to remove most antinutrients present in these foods
