I don't think ivermectin will help you.. thats for more of a skin parasite or mites and sometimes its used with albenza to give it a kick when treating the heartworms (filarial?)
When the one ER doctor thought my specimens were tapeworms, he prescribed biltricide (prazi) but i have serious doubts because all evidence points to roundworm, more specifically whipworm. Albenza is supposed to be the gold standard in the fight against systemic but its only effective against certain tapeworms. If you don't know what kind you have, its a shot in the dark. Most people will try different meds and mix it up, but with seizures, you almost can't start anything until you get that brain scan. Even without insurance, the er should still do one. It's not like any of the administrators will starve or have to give up a vacation home because you couldnt pay up front for one.
