My recent journey has been necessitated by affliction and the need to attempt to come to terms with it, as such has been and is the case with so many here.

I do have skills from decades ago that have been a help.
Microscopy. Sterile culture technique. Knowledge of scientific method.

I did not want to but have had to dust them off.

As well, I contacted numbers of professors in local universities in tropical medicine.
Some in infectious disease.

What I have uncovered is a bit depressing, both in the impact on populace at large as well as in the vastly dwindled likelihood of me being able to be free of what ails me.
Some have lower key symptoms and don't suspect.
In the area in which I live such symptoms could be and are chalked up to bug bites, allergies, poison ivy/oak/sumac (there are some interesting hybrids here), other environmental factors, and the remedies used to deal with those things on a regular basis are employed and are enough.

Some present no symptoms whatsoever.

Then there are those unfortunates, which includes me, that manifest very blatant symptoms.

I have traveled abroad and lived overseas.
I was hoping to find that it was something picked up there.
I had to become acquainted with those things that it could be.
Ruling them out was a step by step methodical process.

Getting to the Big Picture was not something I relish.

I have a number of technical backgrounds.
Those mentioned above have been invaluable.

I also have a background in space and defense. I know some things that go on that most are unaware of.

When I went past what I found on and in myself, it was to what is in the house. Then it was to the Environment At Large outside my immediate environment, that the investigation continued into.

I am thankful that so many are unaware.

When I see someone here that may be afflicted with something more, "normal," there is the hope that it can be dealt with in a more conclusive manner. I hope that is the case and will be the ultimate outcome for such people.

None of us should be here, as you have said.
We have been let down Big Time by systems and authorities we had a degree of confidence, even faith, in.

Shattering that, having that facade fall away, is not comforting.

Confronting Ignorance and Corruption, literally flaunted in our faces, is a game changer in societal perception terms.
