Re: Not a Fan of Iodine Supplementation
The simple truth of the matter is that not everyone needs iodine, or at least not in the amounts that those on the support forum claim we all need.
Unfortunately, when someone on the
Iodine support forum complains about new symptoms popping up after starting iodine, its passed off as 'detox' and they're told that most likely its because they're not taking the required co supplements. So now they're taking some supplement stew along with
Iodine and dont have a clue what is helping and what isnt, or if anything is even helping at all. The problem I have is how do you know it isnt one of the co supplements that is helping instead of the iodine?
When
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement came along it was passed off as some kind of 'miracle' supplement and people started guzzling it down thinking it was going to eliminate all their medical issues. 5 or 6 years and just as many protocols later
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement still hasnt delivered what was promised.
Testimonials are ok, but the people who write testimonials are just as anonymous as anyone else on any forum.
You're better off just listening to your own body like you did, and taking a more common sense approach to the problem instead of relying on what someone else is using.
I disagree completely with the notion that it could take months and months and more months before you'll notice any improvement after taking certain supplements,
Iodine is one of them.
If your body is that 'starved' for iodine, than you'll know very quickly if it is helping or not.
