I do too. I was hoping trust2009 would share his thoughts, but perhaps it's too hard, or perhaps no opinion.
I'm protestant and I know we have some masons within the churches. There seems to be a historical connection to the catholic church...however, these days they do not allow masons within their membership....or so they say. I'm now wishing we didn't either. However, my own Uncle who was a 32 degree scottish rite mason left the order, repented and recommited his life to Christ...so perhaps there is great hope for others to come out of it.
Also, I noticed that the Masons beliefs are very similar to Gnosticism...not at all like Christianity as I know it. So it is very confusing to say the least. Even Muslims have their own Lodges. I just don't understand how these people do not see the religious ideas that Freemasonry causes them to accept, unless they did not really understand their own Christianity or Islamic beliefs correctly to begin with. It totally conflicts with the Christianity that I know.
