I brought the grandchildren/children into the example in order to make a point. As adults we know not to let our precious little ones let their minds be exposed to certain material that they can not process. We many times call this adult material. However, the bible warns us to keep our adult minds on good things and not worldly things, because even as adults, our minds can be tainted as well.

On your thoughts that someone looks down on prostitution...you find that it is nobel for a woman to feed her children in this manner and yet say that owning a gun to protect those same children is wrong? I get it...I get the comparison.
I don't see any christian or any scripture putting down a prostitute in this forum. As christians we are looking to find the Way that works best. We may all start out as prostitutes, but hopefully in time we come to find a new and better Way in Christ. Isn't that why we are here? Just like we come here to find better ideas for healing? Don't we want to search the scriptures as we ask God for answers?
Yes, from time to time people ask other people for advise. Sometimes we just like to know there are others who wonder the same things as we do. You and I both know that prostitution is not the the best choice/answer and neither is violence. It may be where we are right now, but it does not mean we have to stay there.
