Agreed. Its not that Natway's advice is wrong, I would strongly recommend most people at least consider it. But it is controversial considering that most other programs stress the opposite approach. Also, it is frustrating that there is not an acknowledgement that everyone's bodies are different, their metabolisms are different, intolerances are different and imbalances are different. It is wonderful if for some eating a ton of fruit helps (like for ppl with fatty liver), but that does NOT tell us that the same diet will work for everyone else, so it should stop being treated as such. It is intellectually arrogant, it is like saying diabetes medicine healed someone with diabetes - therefore everyone who faints should take diabetes medicine.
