Re: mortality rates
Your post brings up a few more questions for me, are we seeing an increase in Autism, ADD/ADHD, and other mental disorders, or are we seeing an increase in diagnosis of these conditions, some of which are fairly recent inventions?
In whose interest is an increase in diagnosis, drug companies, anti-vaccine promoters, those parents that have poor parenting skills and would rather pathologise the child, than admit their failings, doctors who want to increase their business? There are more, but too many to list here, but these are the ones that come to mind.
Is there an increase in childhood cancer, and other chronic conditions, (relative to the population),or is information simply more freely available?
Are there other variables that an increase in cancer and other chronic conditions, (if indeed there is an increase), could be attributed too? IMO absolutely.
Your post does a good job of showing the need for independent research, which I personally would like to see, rather than simply arbitrarily assigning blame, based on personal prejudice, instead of credible data.
Good post DQ,
