I disagree, and there is a great deal of information that supports the theory. I would encourage people to have a look at the different health care systems around the world, and the mortality rates, and life expectancy of the people living in those countries. A good idea is to look at who can access the best health care, and who misses out.

I know from experience in my own country, that there is a lot more emphasis on preventative health, and lifestyle change, not because I think the government cares about people, it doesn't, but, when the taxpayers are paying for the bulk of the health care system, the government has a duty to spend this money in a way which benefits all people.
