Re: Battling Bacterial Vaginosis

Hi Denise,

Thank you for your many responses. I know the book you are talking about. First, I'd like to say that I think it should be criminal to charge so much money for an ebook, but I digress. Second, the only thing I didn't try was the baking soda water as a way to lower acid. I did however, bombard my body with lemon and water and lime with water. I even went on a fast to try and starve this thing out. As I am aware, BV is different for every woman. I'm not saying what you tried doesn't work and doesn't work for other women. I'm sure that it does ^_^ As for myself, what worked for me was a massive intake of garlic, yogurt, and veggies. In addition there were sooooo many other things I tried but I must say I'm not ashamed. I feel like I compiled a list that someone can stumble upon and see what works for them. In the long run, I truly hope I've helped someone else. Ultimately what has worked for me, to keep things at bay is something called Vh Essentials BV Homeopathic Treatment. I haven't had any discharge for a week. I was actually able to finally have pain free sex. I of course, am not convinced that this is over but one thing I am really really happy about, is that I found what works for my body. But since I was dealing with this for six months, I just feel myself on edge about the relieve. Like I'm still expecting something horrible lol but I know nothing more is going to happen. I will admit one of the things that greatly affects BV is diet and one thing was a big NO NO was drinking lots of hard liquor. I stopped drinking and cut out grain intake. Most of my diet is protein and greens and I drink lots of water. I think the sad part to all of this is that this is just trial and error and I still have to give up things I enjoyed because I don't want to deal with the misery of BV, it's not fair!
I can't say that BV is just about pH, it IS an infection and if left unattended it can cause an inflamed cervix, making sex very very painful. While I do believe the pH in our body has something to do with all this we also have to find what natural things will help fight inflammation. If anyone wants natural foods that fight inflammation feel free to ask and I'll list everything I know. This has truly been one crazy experience that I don't think any woman should have to go through.
