Re: Too much of a good thing nearly killed Gary Null

"6 years raw and my niacin levels, b12 levels etc are optimal. B12 can be synthesized in a healthy gut."

****************************************************
When you say raw--do you eat only plant-based food?
****************************************************

"North American lifestyles destroy this innate ability and it takes time and knowledge to rebuild function. Cultured vegetables and SBO's will do the necessary rebuilding."

This makes sense to me, intuitively. I have tended to believe a body in good condition; that is, cleansed; de-toxed -and a good part of that is put last by many: the mental part- and getting the right nutrition, must able to synthesize its on B12...it only makes sense.

I note though, that in reading, I've come across more than once, even among raw people the statement that somewhere around seven years (?) the body runs out of B12, and as with the good flora scenario, once it's gone; used up, you have to start again. (b12 or pre and prtobiotics, whichever the case may be)

so--viewed from that persepctive maybe you haven't "run out" yet? Also, if you are younger (as opposed to older) you may have more resources... Your further thoughts?
