I guess you don't understand the Constitution states what is allowed. If it's not stated to be ok, then it's not allowed. It can't be more clear. We are created equal, so any logical person knows that means you have to treat people equal. Simple. Just because slavery was still practiced doesn't make it any more legal then imprisoning people who have done no harm.

That's right the Constitution doesn't have any limitation of immigration. So what does that mean? And look what the "law" that congress passed accomplished. Nothing. They don;t even follow the "laws" they make which are illegal in the first place.

"How can you call the U. S. a "nanny state?" The revocation of slavery, the granting the right for women to vote, removing the shackles of segregation, the abolition of the poll tax, the protection of women's health rights, the abolishment of discrimination based on gender, race, ethnic origin, sexua| orientation - that created the "nanny state?"

Now that's just funny. You don't even know what the nanny state is because you've swollowed the propaganda hook line and sinker. You don't even realize what you just said was illegal in the first place. And you want to allow these people to keep doing that. I'm thinking about the saying of repeating the same thing expecting a different result.
