Re: Animal Protein Linked to Increased Diabetes Risk

Arsonist941,

Your comment.......
"Get my Vitamin and herbal crap advertisements off this forum".

Response....
That's a decision for a moderator and not for you.
If you peruse the weblink that I provided, you will notice it is headed first and foremost as a newsletter, and where the products are secondary. The link was provided as a source of my material, and not as a means of selling any wares: nothing more and nothing less.

Your comment...........
"Your study about animal protein and diabetes was probably done with cooked meat and maybe even processed meat".

Response.......
As most meat-eaters eat their meat in a "cooked state" and even consume processed meat, and where anyone on the raw paleo/primal diet are in the minority, then this study is entirely relevant.
In addition, Vitamins and herbs are not what you refer to as "crap", but highly beneficial complements to what many consider as a "nutrient-deficient-diet" in our modern soil-depleted age.

I for one would find a diet consisting of "raw meat" as unpalatable and decidedly repugnant.

BTW: Carnivores in the wild who eat meat, consume the whole of the animal in the raw state: this includes the blood, organs, and flesh, because they know instinctively that this is needed for health.
I suggest you try that approach and let us know how you feel afterwards.

Chrisb1.
