Well, he originally weighed 65Kg in 1997 which dropped to about 54Kg in 2002 and since then it was actually quite stable even though his meals were smaller than average, he still maintained his weight.

It was only May this year that after 12 years of gut problems, this strong abdo pain (which he says feels like "painful heaviness" but obviously not stomach fulness given it lasts for many hours) got so bad that he can't eat. He has gone from 52Kg to 44Kg in just 5 months.

He maintained his weight over the few weeks he was a bit better while on anti-biotics.

The other difficulty is that he is quite closed off to "non-medical" procedures because he has tried so many things over 12 years, including personal development, meditation, personal healing and all that sort of stuff.

I have looked for a local practioner but the only one I can find is in another state, I assume he can't help with the fast being in another state but I might call him on Monday.
