I've been suffering with hand/foot eczema (dyshidrotic eczema) for about 15 months now. I've been on Cellcept for almost 6 months with no improvement. Went for uva narrowband light therapy and it gave me another blistering flare up even though I hadn't healed from the past one. Seems I get a new blistering flare up every month before my mentrual period, then it finally starts clearing up only to get a new flare up before my next period. So, I've looked it up online and there's actually cases in which progesterone levels play in to flare ups. I'm so frustrated at this point. I'm on vicadin for pain so I can at least walk and use my hands, still taking cellcept and have had every kind of steroid (ointment, prednisone and shots) to a point that my doctor won't give me steroids for a while now. I just want this gone. If you suffer from eczema and are fed up like I am, please email me so we can compare experiences, meds we've used, etc. I am going to a new dermatologist soon and want to be armed with information since I've totally lost faith in doctors at this point. I'm SICK of being in pain!! I've also gained 40 lbs from Cellcept and steroids and can't do anything to get it off since sweating and getting overheated play a role in flare ups too. So frustrated! Sorry to vent. Just fed up and looking for real answers on how to get this to go away so I can get back to living a normal life!
