I also have dyshidrotic eczema. I have had problems with it for the last 3 years and went to many doctors and they all thought it was some kind of fungus. It wasn't until I went to a certain dermatologist about a year ago that he correctly diagnosed my problem. It is only on the soles of my feet and on my hands. It starts with a blister and then oozes and becomes a sore that slits open and stays that way for a long time. Itching, hard skin, dryness. I have tried so many creams and medicine and they don't seem to do anything.

I recently came on to something and I was wondering what you all think about it?

I just realized that about ever since I have had this problem it has been since I got married and started taking birth control. I have a 10 month old daughter and during my pregnancy I really do not remember having new blisters, just the awful sores. After she was born I started back on to birth control and it has gotten so bad! New blisters every day that I know will stay with me for months. And they also leave terrible scars. I recently decided to go off birth control and since then I have not had any problems. My doctor believes that it is just making my ezcema worse and it wants to start me on medicine they use to treat cancer, but me personally I believe that birth control pills could be the cause of my ezcema. Have any of you heard anything like this? I also have hypothyroidism. That could also be another problem. I know it has something to do with my hormones. They are such a mess. Any one that has any ideas of anything I could try please let me know. Thanks! Charity Tweet
