i decided to give up on a "friendship" that felt more like vampirism to me, and was threatened with ruin if i didn't remain in the relationship

it was one of those situations where the person that i needed to get away from knew everyone i knew and proceeded to make an effort to convince all of our mutual friends that i was a horrible person who was abusing her by ignoring her
