Re:On Healing
I agree with you, but not in the particular post and response that started this particular thread.
Molly and grandma, not yelling but tappin the baby on the behind is dangerous territory particularly presented as it was in that post. I am now clear about a few people and things at this site. This is so scary and controlling that I feel for that entire family. These ideas are passed down the family tree.
As you point out here this stuff is a larger body...and this goes for CZ also.
There is a tendency to defend violence while speaking of health. And there are violent actions on this site also. There is true illness at the seat of the site. Let's get back to the symbology of the archetypical soul work
Yes there is such a space as taking on anothers or the world's ills, modern medicine considers this type of mental illness, as a matter of fact your posted as such in another reincarnation. Stanislof Grof has a great book Stormy serach for self, that speaks about the break that occurs on the spiritual journey. (Dark night of the soul?)
Many times the person is hospitalized for mental illness since the level has risen to such distress that the supplicant is truly "disturbed" and needs sucor and care through the process
Now days one will be on meds in a heartbeat so frightened is our culture of loss of control of the ego.
But as you point out in other posting this is a part of many tribal cultures. It is considered a path to maturity and connectedness.
This other stuff I have been addressing is not of that venue, and I believe you know MB very well indeed!
