Healing is NOT always positive

You're wrong. The AFTERMATH and BYPRODUCTS of healing "always feel good" and are "always positive."

Have you ever had your jaw shattered by someone that you trusted and loved? Have you ever been violently raped by your significant other? Have you ever lost an immediate loved one to murder? Have you ever been attacked and robbed by a gang of thugs?

Talk to any victim of domestic violence or abuse - talk to any victim of random sexual assault - talk to anyone who has been beaten and robbed - talk to anyone who has had a loved one murdered. In all of these expereiences, there must be - MUST BE - the productive and normal feelings of denial, rage, bargaining, and acceptance of what happened to them. It is the progress and aftermath of healing that is positive and it cannot be affected by donning rose-tinted glasses, burning incense, and pretending that Life is Fair.

For crying out loud, anonymous poster, you do not have The Answers to proper or healthy therapy. You're living in a false Utopia that is based upon wishful thinking. If wishes were fishes, nobody would ever go hungry.
