I remember my journey when I was introduced to this holistic approach of practising yoga. Good advice. Google "spiritual grounding" there are many sites explaining it. It is simply a spiritual connection between you and the center of the planet - staying present. I would ignore any instructions that make it complex, it is really very simple. When you are grounded you are in control of your kundalini and your entire reality.
