I’m so happy to hear you have begun practicing yoga. No matter the type, yoga is one of the best ways to stay fit both mentally and physically. I personally practice Kundalini Yoga and I follow the lessons of Guru Rattana, which are available online at Yoga Technology’s website. Though I have practiced other types of yoga before, I particularly like Kundalini because of the way it affects my mind. It focuses on breathing and meditation, which has really improved my attention and lowered my stress levels. The physical benefits are similar to other types – improved core, strength, flexibility – but it’s a type that can really help you spiritually and mentally. I say you try it out and see if you like it, as that’s the best way to figure out if something works for you!
