Hi, I'm a 29 year old fit male who has been experiencing stomach discomfort, flatulence, odd coloured stools and a dry itchy skin rash on lower leg and foot for several months now. I also have an issue with having to wipe hours after a bowel movement too which has been going on for some years now. It started after having a big weekend where I consumed alot of beer. I had a blood test for pancreatitis but it came back negative, ultrasound on my organs which all were fine and also had a fecal fat stool test which came back normal. My stool was also tested for h pylori, which was also negative but it did come up positive for some type of aeromonas. My doctor said the aeromonas was unlikely to be causing this issue as I'm not having diarrhoea, and assumed it was a stomach ulcer and put me on lansoprazole for 8 weeks. It definitely helped with the stomach discomfort but I'm still having some issues after discontinuing. I finished my course of lansoprazole and a week later and got a blocked saliva gland which I was prescribed amiloxyn for (I'm on my last tablet now). My stools are still very odd colour and consistency which has me worried. Could it be the aeromonas causing my issues or possibly something else? Here is a photo of my most recent stool (sorry it's gross)

Hello everyone, as I'm arriving to my wits end. I'm writing this down hoping someone would guide me through what might be going on with my body, I'll be genuinly thankful for every possible help.

The sick journey started back 10 years ago, with stomach pain, I kind of ignored it since it wasn't that bothersome. As it worsened through the years, I suddenly started suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis on my scalp which led to gradual hairloss. As soon as I realized the possible corrolation between the gut and autoimmune/skin conditions, I started dieting (Acid, Sugar and dairy free diet) while supplementing (12 months of Mastic Gum and oregano to kill H Pylori, casual supplementing with B, D vitamins, L-Glutamin for stomach lining) which kind of helped soothing my gastric ulcer for some time, but the conditions are still there. I've visited many doctors but they keep focusing on the symptoms giving me topical treatments but I know all of the symptoms are caused internally, but still I couldn't figure out what is behind.. Any suggestion would help,

Here is a list of my symptoms:

- Seborrheic Dermatitis on scalp (Most bothersome)
- Gastric ulcer (Most bothersome)
- Cracking knee joints
- White fissured tongue
- Dry skin
- Cold hands and feet
- Vertical Nail ridges

Could really use with some advice or help right now I honestly feel like I’m falling apart and I just don’t know what else I can do or try, these could all be completely separate issues and not linked. In anyway I’ve had so many tests (NHS luckily) but no luck and doctors now just think I’ve lost the plot, I’m 25 Male eat healthy and had no problems till all this started

A brief history/Timeline

- 4 years ago it started with bad fatigue heart palps after meals, bad concentration, Ibs symptoms and memory and low sex drive/impotence, I had diabetes tests, glucose tolerance tests at hospital and all the blood tests they could think of and came back fine, they said reactive hypogelcmia but my blood sugar didn’t go low enough to diagnose it.

- 1 year ago while all these above symptoms were still present I woke up one morning with muffled hearing very bad tinnitus and sensitivity to sounds which hasn’t got any better since it happened, drs have done hearing tests and speech tests and both are execellent 🙄
Also I started having some very intense sharp instestine pain which has stayed with me ever since, it’s constant every single day sharp ,burning stabbing. They took a stool sample and said my stomach was very inflamed but Colonoscopy, MRI and CT all back fine.

Over the years I’ve tried just about every supplement, diet advice honestly just about anything I read online or dr said witn no help at all.

I’m sorry if this is poorly written I’m just at the end of my tether now really struggling and if anyone could think of anything that could be of help please let me know.

Ever try some chromium and support for adrenal cortex? Remember cortisol is a "glucocorticoid." something to investigate and learn.
  
  What is the likelihood that you have that list of seemingly unrelated symptoms at such a young age and yet they are unrelated? Not good, right?
  
  That was my experience too, but when ten years older. *Thankfully* I broke my leg without any contact or fall while just playing outdoor sports with young relatives under 10 yrs old. Before that I had fatigue, brain fog, mood and personality changes, poor memory, weak muscles that would get strained easily, frequent colds, cold hands, lethargy in the evenings, more introverted personality, eye floaters, low kidney blood test numbers, etc.
  
  The broken leg led to the theory that I had lead toxicity. 1.5 years after I started oral detox--Cutler Protocol--my DEXA bone density improved 8% to borderline normal, kidney numbers normalized and have since improved much more, and many symptoms are much improved--fatigue, brain fog, cold hands, more outgoing and easy-going personality, rarely catch a cold or strain my back, memory is normal for my age, etc.
  
  I'd be surprised if mercury is not at least a significant contributing factor. You list all of the most commonly reported symptoms in the heavy metal (HM) detox groups except mood/personality changes, frequent urination and sleep problems. The latter are related since people have to wake twice per night to urinate.

  These posts by detox group members will give you a feel for commonly reported symptoms. Not everyone will be the same. Not all symptoms are due to HMs or possibly HMs is just a contributing factor. Some people will have more mercury. Others will have more lead or arsenic. Some people will also have imbalances in an essential element that can combine with a HM to make matters worse, for example, high copper, high manganese or something else in one's well water, low lithium, etc.

  When I started detox my predetox urine, porphyrins and hair tests were either negative or just barely suspicious. My exposure to HMs ended years earlier and I had been taking antioxidants--vitamin C, E, selenium, etc. I had a decent job but needed three meds and a handful of supplements plus special diet. I'm now down to a child's dose of just one of the meds, generous doses of supplements and almost no dietary restrictions. I just have to be careful with caffeine but that runs in my family.
  
  My point is that current testing for HMs is not good unless you had a major acute exposure in a chem factory accident, etc. There are many false negatives. Many people in the detox groups had tried so many other things for many years with little success and just decided to try detox.
  
  There are many forms of HM detox, from big doses in an IV from a doctor, to green smoothies containing cilantro and chlorella. The latter knocked "Billy" on his butt as he described at one of the links above. There are plenty of reports from those who did not tolerate an IV or something else from one's doctor.   Since I was able to thrive in a full time tech job I did not want to roll the dice with something risky. I was willing to detox slowly. I ended up choosing Cutler's very conservative protocol with small doses of oral medication plus supplements.   My health decline started when I was around your age. At that time there was no Internet. My six doctors over 15 years did not know what was wrong with me. i had to get lucky to come across Dr Mark Hyman on TV. He had been sicker than I was as a middle aged doctor. He says he went to ten other doctors before someone realized HMs were involved.
  
  You are more fortunate than I was at your age. If indeed HMs are a major contributing factor in your health problems your life does not have to become messed up like mine was. Just don't make things worse by doing something rash. Do your homework before jumping in!
  
  There are some good support groups at Yahoo and Facebook. The ones here are not very active.
  
  Please update us. You are going to get major health gains over the next year or two if you do your homework and take reasonable action. Your symptom list is too consistent with what is seen in the detox groups, especially if you neglected to list a couple of the other common symptoms.

Hey there,

I have suffered from on and off constipation for a while now. And also hair fall for close to 4 years. I recently changed my diet, and gave up processed food. On one visit to an ayurvedic doctor I found out my liver is enlarged, he didn't do any test, just checked my pulse. And gave me some medicines for gastritis.
After close to 15 days of taking the medicine, my friend suggested the liver flush. And i tried it, except I used only 20 gms of epsom salt, as only that amount was available. I saw some floating green balls, I am not sure if they are just hardened bile or stones. After the flush, for 3-4 days I had better bowel movements, but things got bad soon after, I saw a little blood in my stool and the pain in my stomach area is back.

I am wondering if I should continue with the Liver Flush and if gastritis will heal on its own after the flushes. I don't want to go to any allopathy doctor. Here in India, they just rip you off and do not really help.

  Sorry about your woes. I don't know much about Ayurvedic cure for gastritis, but if you have enlarged liver, the following site has some advice. I am not sure that the Liver Flush is for everybody. Sounds like it harmed you a bit. I'd stay away from them. Maybe go back on the pills the Ayurvedic doctor gave you and see what happens down the line. Good luck.

  I did several, maybe 2 dozen, flushes over a few years and had no bad side effects like you. I did discharge some genuine stones and then they stopped coming. I do not feel that my overall health is much improved but nevertheless it was good to get rid of that stuff in my gallbladder/liver.

  Red blood visible in stool is most likely from much lower in the tract than the stomach. Still not good, but not as bad as blood from stomach. If you have dark blood in stool you should see a doc asap. You should probably consult a doctor about the blood.
  
  Hemorrhoids present as red blood.
  
  Gastritis can go along with gallstones.
  
  It can be difficult to tell the difference between gallbladder pain and gastritis.
  
  Hair falling out is associated with hypothyroid. Constipation and Gallstones are as well.

I am having some severe stomach or small / upper (likely duodenal) intestine issues. There may be an issue with my gallbladder in the mix as well.

I have tried various solutions so far with no real success. Due to lack of health insurance, I would like to find a naturopath or other doctor that would work outside of the "system" so to speak.

Can someone recommend a fantastic doctor (of any type, but preferably who will work with someone in my position) who is exceptionally talented at diagnostic work?

  And i mean by pure, clean, normal simple water.
  How many glasses of WATER (not juices, coffee, teas, sodas etc) do you drink daily.

Hi guys, first post here but I've been reading n browsing this site for many months now since I came across it.

I decided to post because I just came back after some beers with some mates and my gallbladder started to act up. I started getting pain on my gallbladder n stomache was starting to bloat. I got home and straight away started to down 3 full glasses of warm water n put some salt on the tongue and swallow it..

5mins later the pain went away!

Don't get me wrong n think that I've never done the olive oil, grapefruit, Epsom Salt flush. I've done more than 15flushes, it certainly does help to reduce the gallstone attacks etc BUT the one that totally improved my health is the consumption of 10 to 16 glasses of water n a pinch of salt to keep my salt level balanced.

When researching I came across the watercure by Dr Batmanghelidj n since its so easy to do n is almost free so I just increased my water consumption. By god did my health improve tremendously. My gallstone attack is very occasional and most of the time if it happens, I know I've just most probably drank lotsa beers or coffee and had peed most of the water in my body making my body in a state of dehydration and the brain starts to trigger "drought management" causing some organs in my body to deprive of water. In the Gallstones prob the gallbladder most probably is the one that gets not enough water to work with n then the attack comes.

Once I swallow large amounts if water n some salt, the pain goes away in 5-10mins. I've done this many times and noticed water does work so I am convinced that the body is just dehydrated and needs water to work well n my health to be up again.

So just my simple advice, drink minimum 10glasses of water (not juice,not coke,not coffee etc just plain water) per day to see your gallstone pain go away and if u do suddenly have an attack, firstly drink 3-4glasses of warm water n swallow a pinch of salt then wait for 5 to 10mins before deciding to move on to other remedies or resort to medications.

I hope my advice works cos I'm totally sold on Dr Batmanghelidj's watercure after experiencing it first hand myself. It is said to work for stomach ulcers, asthma, acid reflux n many other sicknesses cos the pain caused by these diseases are just our body telling us that we are dehydrated.

    Do the flushes correctly and do them often enough to get the liver unpacked and you shouldn't have these problems anymore.
    
    If it makes the problem worse, it is only temporary and you should keep going. The liver can be very packed, beyond belief. Can take up to 20 flushes depending or more. Might only take 5. You gotta just try it, but read up on it and do it by the book. Good luck:)

      I heard the lipoma and some keloids are the "dirty and toxic" body especially the former one Dr. Andreas Moritz mentioned before, it is linked, I got the lipoma on my chest. After testing the black salve, it proved the tumor is the lipoma, not the cancer type.
      
      Any suggestion to get rid of the lipoma and keloids? Again, I am pretty new to curezone and indeed I just got awared less than 16 months, as I was fooled in the mainstream medical way and media for a long time, I try not to be furious and some smoke on my nose but indeed very very on fire...

    As I've advised. Drink 10-12 glasses of water n a pinch of salt for every 3rd 250ml cup of water to regain back your health. When I mean water, I mean just plain clean water n not coffee, sodas, juices, tea or anything else.
    
    It has helped with my hemorrhoids too. Our body needs water to heal, clean, give energy n function well. Water is life. That's why scientists try to find other planets which might have water to find life.
    
    The first thing when u get to emergency in hospitals they'll hook u up with saline water drip which is just water with salt.
    
    So don't go try other remedies here without even trying to hydrate your body thoroughly and drink 10-12 glasses of water n a pinch of salt everyday!
    
    Your body could actually be dehydrated thus these disease symptoms surfaces.
    
    Drink 2-3 glasses of water once u wake up in the morning before you even brush your teeth. You don't want to introduce fluoride or choride into your body after 8hrs of fasting whilst u were asleep! Introduce water which will automatically lubricate your throat n gives u a boost of energy.
    
    Btw do u know that a piece of bread is just a piece of bread that will just contain maybe 300kilojoules of energy but once hydrolyzed with water it emits almost 1000kj of energy!
    
    So did the energy come from the piece of bread? No! Its water that has the energy not the bread. Western medicine has had wrong concept of nutrition all this while.
    
    Everyone knows that u can survive for quite a long time without food but not without water. And we all know that hydrogen that is present in water H2O is the primary fuel to make fuel cells, bombs etc so water is freaking energy!
    
    It is soooooo important in our cells that if we do not have enuf of it we'll get sick. So trust me, drink 10-12glasses of cheap pure water n a pinch of salt first before trying any other remedies. It has helped me so why wouldn't it help you.

      I always say what does an elephant eat? What does a horse eat? We can get energy from vegetables and fruits and don’t have to worry about what will happen if we don’t eat meat.

        I think I will find it hard getting 2000-2500 calories from fruits and vegetables as they are very low calories but I will try my best also I am having a colonscopy no anesthetic just a strong sedative could I fast soon after the operation?

MATULA TEA — DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! From what I can tell, the tea is simply a diuretic one akin to Fennel tea or Nettle. It made me sick. Further, I have tried to email and contact the Matula Tea dealers/makers through “Super Natural Herbs” (http://www.super-natural-herbs.com) and Ulcer Cure (http://www.ulcer-cure.com/) — a complete waste of time: NO REPLY now that they have my money. Nice. Avoid Matula tea and buy yourself some Fennel tea if you’re constipated, get some Aloe Juice if have gastritis, and stick diligently to the Manuka Honey and Mastic Gum if you have H Pylori!

    My saga with H Pylori is a miserable one with a happy outcome after more than a year, and as research continues to show, the Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness against the bacteria.
    
    I used "alternative" meds, based on the crazy notion that food can heal.
    
    The main three main "drugs" that finally eradicated the H Pylori were 1200 mg. of Monolaurin twice a day (derived from coconut milk), Manuka Honey (activated and only from New Zealand), and Mastic Gum (derived from the Greek Mastic tree). I did add in several other healing agents consistently like L Glutamine (a powder I put on my oatmeal, which helps heal gut tissue, thanks to the bacterial damage this potent bug can do), Aloe Juice (from the aloe plant), among other items I don't feel like typing in here. If you're interested in my saga with H Pylori that almost caused me to have a defibrillator in my chest (extreme, yes, but they decided the now-gone heart issues were not related to the infection) or if you want to read about this "crazy" alternatives that have restored my life and caused me to test negative for H Pylori, check out my blog entry here:

    It took me a long time to research and restore my health. I hope this information helps.
    
    One more thing: diet is key in helping you to improve as your body fights the bacteria. You should absolutely eliminate white flour products like carbohydrates (white pastas, white rice, bread, etc). These are sugars! Sugars only feed bacteria and provide no nutritional value. Also, cut out sugars! You should even limit fruits for the time being. Your goal is two fold: don't feed the bacteria and give the gut easy-to-digest alkalizing foods. Avoid foods like tomatoes and dairy products too. You can catch up on calcium later. Milk is acidic in the gut.
    
    My diet over the past two months was pretty much chicken soup (simple molecules), cooked veggies, brown rice, avocados (for good fat content), and olives and capers. It was very difficult as I love my coffee and my glasses of wine, chocolate, pasta, pizza, etc. But it worked. And I've actually come out eating better now, even though I've returned some of my cookies and other desserts.

      Why are people allowed to push drugs on these forums, at the expense of natural products that I have personally used and can vouch for?
      
      I wish people would be as good at slating every medicine (drug) that never worked - if I did that I would be writing here for a week

      I used Matula Herbal tea as well and I am happy to report that it worked exactly as promised. I already reported that in this forum some time ago, and I am even happier that I am still free from h pylori. I have read many other good reports and hate seeing a good thing slated. I have gastritis and a stomach ulcer likely caused by certain bad bacteria and a deficiency in friendly bacteria causing dysbiosis and or SIBO and I would like to try high dose vitamin C to see how I respond. My stool sample shown a high level of streptococcus ( which can apparently cause acidosis ) and zero growth of lactobacillus. What worries me is that with a diagnosed stomach ulcer and also gastritis will vitamin c cause my stomach to produce excess acid thus worsening the inflammation and ulcer ?.

I also worry about taking probiotics and kefir since you read they can feed bad bacteria , it's all so confusing. I've no idea what to think about these but then surely a deficiency in lactobacillus needs to be treated somehow. I think I finally know what's wrong with me but I'm really struggling with what to do in regards to treatment and this is way above my GP's knowledge field and I get 5 minutes max per appointment which just isn't enough time.

Sorry if I'm treading over old ground here , it's just that I haven't come across anyone with these problems with stomach inflammation and ulcers complicating the treatment.

  If I were "in your shoes," I would DEFINITELY try, i.e. experiment with, ascorbic acid, i.e. start with a small[er] amount, and increase the amount from there [if you feel no negative reactions from it]. If you find it to be a bit too acidic, it's as simple as ingesting enough sodium bicarbonate, i.e. baking soda, to eliminate the problem. Frankly Tay, even when you get to your limit [with ascorbic acid], e.g. with an overly acidic stomach and/or with Bowel Tolerance, if it were me, I would hold there for a little while, and then PERSEVERE in trying to RAISE that amount. From my view, this antioxidant can only help you [but you probably will get various detoxification symptoms from its use, i.e. in the shorter run].

    Here's hoping I see some improvement. I almost struggle to believe something as simple as vitamin C could help me considering how much this has affected my weight ( I'm extremely underweight due to mal-absorption ) and health.

      Try licorice root (not the candy, the herbal root), for that ulcer.

  You could have Helicobacter pylori which may be causing your stomach ulcer and gastritis. That could of occurred following achlorhydria/hypochlorhydria giving pylori the chance it needed and the SIBO too.
  
  Destroying Helicobacter pylori might be needed so look for ways of accomplishing that. Judging by your other threads, you have already discovered this.
  
  PepzinGI (Zinc Carnosine) might help you in the short term and so could Lactobacillus Plantarum. As could licorice root as mentioned by another poster in this thread.
  
  If you need Vit C, then get it in bulk powder form rather wasting money on capsules. I just received some (2Kg) today along with a few other things from Trade Ingredients. The prices are very decent and so is the delivery.
