Dr. Lam - one more thing
by Trick X Master 13 y
One more thing, I have been thinking a lot about how dr. lam’s protocol fits in. I do believe that this illness has to do with inflammation and viral activation leading to more inflammation. In this process, there is mitochondrial dysfunction and overall lack of sufficient ATP.
I just recently looked at some chronic fatigue syndrome forums, and I saw some people talking about phospholipid vitamin C delivery. I have also seen that taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance has been a part of many chronic fatigue syndrome sufferer’s protocols.
I have made a decision to go back on dr. lam ...

Thanks very much for the information. This is the kind of response I’m looking for.
I was hoping to learn bits of information specifically related to how vitamin C affects Adrenal Fatigue, but this is the next best thing. I’m not a medical professional or an advanced student of biology, so it’ll be difficult for me to put this information together into a sensible understanding of vitamin C’s relation to Adrenal Fatigue, but if that’s where I have to start from, I can do little but try.
And thanks for the gentle ”How about Wikipedia?” suggestion.

Fruitarians (including nuts, seeds, fruit, peas, beans,

Vitamin C’s Effect on Skin Cancer
I’ve had two more people rid themselves of basal cell carcinoma by wiping on concentrated solution of vitamin C. One used sodium ascorbate and the other buffered C from Life Extension Foundation. Both scabbed up and left clean scars in one to two weeks depending on how large the thing is.
There’s no question that vitamin C is a big gun in the anti-cancer arsenal!
This would be a good test to see if a mole is cancerous or not. Just rub on the C solution and if it crusts up and falls off it was, if nothing happens then it’s probably not cancer. We ...

Any references on Vitamin C’s effectiveness on depression?
My brother’s been on seroxat for 9 years and recently I started him on ozonated water. He’s taking a B complex (lifeplan). He’s bought a bike. This may not sound like much but believe me, he’s the archetypal couch potato but I can see he’s finally coming round to the idea that the problem is pysiological, not psychological.
He knows that he’ll have to taper off the medication...I’m just curious as to what effects these drugs must be having on his liver.

Iodine vs. Vit C.
by goods 17 y

Last night on the Discovery channel’s Daily Planet(in Canada) a short segment was shown demonstrating Vitamin C’s effect on Iodine.
I didn’t catch the beginning, but from what I gathered, Iodine is an oxidizer?) and Vitamin C an anti-oxidant, and to demonstrate this point the scientist painted a small patch of Iodine on his palm and then rubbed it with a wetted Vit. C tablet.
The iodine stain slowly disappeared.
Lends credence to what someone said (V.?)earlier about taking the Vit. C an hour away from the Iodine.

Numerous people report suddenly feeling better when they have cut back on their supplements in your protocol (specifically the vitamin C’s), and that you say this is a good sign because the body is resetting and does not need the extra vitamins.
What are the signs and symptoms you are looking for to indicate the body needs fewer supplements? What do you tell your patients to look for?
Also, what makes one feel worse prior to reducing the supplements? Is it trying to clear the extra?
Thank you.

Research conducted at the University of Leicester in England, reported this year in the journal Free Radical Biology and Medicine, contributes to the understanding of the mechanisms involved in vitamin C’s ability to help heal and protect the skin. Tiago Duarte, Marcus S. Cooke and G. Don Jones previously reported the discovery of the upregulation of DNA repair in vitamin C supplement users. The current research examined gene expression and DNA damage and repa ...

Mainstream doctors, for some reason, have erased from their memories the existence of the adrenal gland. In that same vein, they ignore other systems that are affected by the gland and misdiagnose other conditions caused by its malfunction.
When you tell them you’re anxious or depressed, the only thing they know to do (sadly) is give you a pill. At that point, it may help your brain some, but if your body is out of whack and your adrenals are depleted, you’re f***ed. We are really still in the dark ages.

Synthetic vitamin C

Many people assume that any product sold in a health food store is natural. Actually, most of the vitamins and minerals, as well as hormone products, and other items are synthesized in a lab. This includes the majority of vitamin C products sold in health food stores.
Natural vitamin C is too costly to extract, therefore the majority of vitamin C is synthesized from sugars, most often from corn. This includes products, such as palm C, which sounds natural. Palm C is synthesized from palm sugar though.
Synthetic vitamin C’s will be listed on the bottle as ascorbic acid. Natur ...

Actually, ascorbic acid was the first discovered and recognized component of vitamin C and is the only ”officially” chemically recognized definition. This being said, vitamin C has since been discovered to be an actual complex of compounds (much as, say, vitamin E has been discovered to be) and these other compounds (including bioflavinoids, etc) are known to be necessary for the proper/optimal utilization of vitamin C. The sodium ascorbate will eliminate

KIDNEY STONES (Renal Calculi) AND THEIR RELATION TO DIET
