Injecting yourself is no more risky than having a holistic MD do it.
It's not a good practice, no more than shooting drugs, IMHO.
I've had IV Vitamin C's that caused bad reactions. Unless someone has a degree in chemistry and physiology, they don't know how an injection will work with someone - what it will do. Sticking oneself with various substances is IMHO flirting with disaster. I used to do it and now I have Hep C and may always have it. I used to think needles were fun.
I had to go to the ER for a self inflicted Vitamin C IV. My body felt like I had the flu / fever times 10.
Millions of people inject themselves with insulin every day without difficulty.
Yes but that's MD prescribed insulin, not injecting pee at home with needles they bought online without the MD's prescription.
Martha Christy's book says it can cause severe reaction, and I believe it. She says it's only right in an emergency and under a doctor's care.
When someone starts to see the many benefits of even a teaspoon of pee, they will not (in many cases) mind the taste. Oral UT is well absorbed because it's structured liquid that the body readily absorbs, even more so when it's fresh.
I'm not a big fan of homeopathic doses either, however, for the faint of heart they may be better than nothing.
