Re: a lot of thoughts (and applicable questions) Re: Excessive????
" It seems now the entire WVT
Iodine Supplementation has totally lost their pioneering spirit...and that truly alarms me. True pioneers and true healers examine ALL sides of every substance and protocol...the propensity for healing, the propensity for damage, and the the potential effects (both negative and positive) for everything in every aspect of the human body. They now all seem to be on the "penicillin is a miracle" wave...and scarily, that wave may just turn out to be a violent tsunami in the months, years, or decades to come."
I've posted links from internet sources & opinions and had discussions re
Iodine with some other folks for some time, and frankly am fatigued from the volume of discussions. There is a finite amount of information available, and in my estimation, it was largely exhausted months ago. If you interpret this as meaning that I've lost any pioneering spirit you may have perceived me as having, then I respect your opinion, even though I don't agree with it.
True healers and true pioneers, within that definition, don't exist. Even well-funded companies such as Merck don't always see everything, and they have the best staff in the world ! I'd like to see one example where anyone was ever able to examie all sides of every substance and protocol, the propensity for.....every aspect of the human body. Their modus operandi would serve as a good model for all to emulate. To my knowledge, no perfect system exists; the human body hasn't been figured out completely, yet. Plus, even the best people sometimes make mistakes and oversights. Lots of effects aren't always known or foreseeable up front. And no reasonable person would or should expect an internet forum containing links to articles by MD's, other internet-based documents, and a few anectodal experiences to comprise the work of a True Healer within the definition you've put forth. That's why every page has reference to the TOS, which basically states that none of what's on here is medical advice.
Penicillin was a miracle at the time of its discovery, and remains a potent and viable anti-biotic, but it's not a cure-all. Those who expect any tool to perform outside the scope of its limitations are probably thinking unreasonably, just as a person who tries to butcher a cow using only a fishhook would find out. Personally, I don't view
Iodine as any more of a miracle than I do bismuth or tin. I view miracles as unexplainable great works. With iodine, its mechanisms and function are fairly well-known. Iodine doesn't cause tsunami's. Left to itself, like firearms and knives, it sits quietly in storage on a shelf. Like the others, it has potential to be a useful tool in the right hands, or a dangerous weapon in the hands of the unskilled.
You've raised a lot of good questions,. I wish I knew the answers. You may find it productive to write these questions to Drs. Abraham, Flechas, et al. They probably don't have all the answers, but they might have some.
