I am guessing that these mice received only iodine, without the supplements which the physicians treating humans have figured out are needed along with the Iodine . . selenium, Vit. C and salt or potassium chloride.The Na/K chloride has been shown to greater assist the kidneys. Without it I suspect that kidney damage could be quite possible.
So, the questions rears its head...who is paying for the study and what point are they trying to prove?
