Re: ok, fine, I eat COMPOSTED, RECYCLED manure

You are correct that fruit with smaller seeds such as most wild varieties, berries, apples, etc. evolved to depend on consumption by an animal, seeds and all, and then upon defecation fertilizing and planting the seed all at once.

Your first sentence is supported.

The better the fruit, the more attracted an animal, due to the health/vibrational frequency and the better chance it had of being eaten and then its seed planted.

In a commercial world, the problem has become a using of synthetic, unnatural means to delay rot as per your illustrated use of the flavor savr tomato. This I think is a foundational support for your own and Wombat's argument. I agree that the unnatural means of delaying rot in this case is NOT a good thing.

I believe however that we are talking about two very different things in this discussion.

One being the natural health and vitality of a plant grown in fertile well balanced soil and the other being a frankenfood such as a conventionally raised, in synthetically fertilized nutritionally unbalanced soil with herbicide, pesticide, GMO, chemically treated after harvesting to prolong shelf life produce. Of course there will be differences and your own and Wombat's argument for these reasons are supported.

But that is not the natural world at all. Most people's current view of the way things should be is so very distorted and so far removed from the natural world any more that they do not understand the way things are supposed to be at all.
