You have twisted the words of Jesus to fit somethin that isn't there

"Saved is a term used to indicate that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior. Saved does not mean that you are instantly plucked from the earth and dropped into heaven."

It doesn't say that anywhere in the bible.  It is new age mythical theology.

"When Jesus referred to the spirit he meant the Holy Spirit, which comes to live in your heart when you accept Jesus. Jesus explained that he must die in order for the Holy Spirit to come and live in us. He spoke of it often while he was here and there are many references to it in the Bible. This is the Spirit he is speaking of."

I find it so interesting that the "literal interpreters" of the bible have to tell you what it means.  It means nothing of what your wrote.  You are spirit.  When you turn within and search for the kingdom of god that Jesus said is within you, you will discover that fact.

"We may be created in the image of God but we are not God, nor are we Gods. There is only one God. This is very basic and goes back to the 10 commandments. We may be able to walk with Jesus and strive to be like him but we will never BE him. We should use his sinless life as an example of how to act and think and treat others. Not an example that if we do that we will become a God. That is self worship."

Matthew 10:31-36  Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

In the passage above Jesus used the holy scripture to confirm his claim that he is a son of god, just as the passage in Psalms says that all men are gods.   Genesis says that we are created in the image of the eternal god.  We will not "become" gods, we are gods.  He even confirmed it again in the following passage.

Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets."

Loving god and loving your neighbor (as yourself) is are identical.  Your neighbor is a spark of the divine and so are you.  It's biblical in multiple scriptures and it is the words of Jesus.

If you would believe Jesus and turn within to discover your kingdom, you wouldn't have to twist his words to mean something that he didn't say.
