We are supposed to LEARN from what The Lord says in scripture, not get lost in STUDY the way a scientist will STUDY for years and develop scientific explanations that fill pages of reports. The common belief is that everything in scripture should be STUDIED as though it is STRANGE and in code, like The Lord encoded it and put it in RIDDLES so we wouldn't be able to understand it without scientific analysis. Godliness is not an INTELLECTUAL SKILL nor is it based on emotional exertion. If you truly love God, then you will also trust in Him (faith), but the faith will come from your love, it is not the other way around (love does not come from faith, true faith comes from love). Not everybody will understand that, only the people who it makes SENSE to and will SHOW that it makes sense to them in their lives, words and thoughts.

I couldn't believe what I was actually reading. Of course what you're saying, melvel, doesn't make sense to you, it doesn't make sense AT ALL. The Lord warns us that it is not a good habit to judge other people at all, but, when we do judge/discern, we are to JUDGE RIGHTLY and not judge others more harshly than we judge our own actions with our conscience.

NO, you're explanation does not make any sense (and you didn't really believe that we thought it did either). Why are you so intent on introducing confusion to this forum? My Lord is not the master of confusion.



Christians are not supposed to be CRUEL at all.
