Dang. I know the "experts" would probably rip on you for that but I understand as only another battered wife or abused wife can. I hate it but it's true.

I am Danish and make a really $#*++y "victim". :O)

What torments him is that I know the truth and refuse to lie for him so he can stay or hide in his "comfort zone". (He should have thought about that over 20 yrs ago, if THAT is what he wanted!) I just tell the truth. He hates that. I don't "rub his nose in it" or purposefully bring it up to no avail....I think God has just given him countless times to tell the truth. "IF we confess, He is faithful and just to forgive." I can hardly wait to see his face come Judgment Day. I truly feel very sorry for every man who has battered his wife AND THEN LIED ABOUT IT.

God help them all.
