Re: Question: Half Way Meal?

It takes far less than a meal to move you out of ketosis. Please read Fuhrman. This is not what you feel, it's Science that is easily tested at home. You can even use the strips that Atkins recommends (although I don't support that diet). It takes only a few calories to end ketosis.
What you are doing is not a water fast. You're doing a modified diet to lose weight, which is okay, but that is not the primary reason for water fasting. You are really putting your body through some physiological gymnastics that I've found no Water Fasting to authority to recommend. What will you eat after you come off the fast? The same kinds of food you eat on Sunday dinner. You will probably gain back the weight.
Reading my past posts, you'll see I try to be tolerant, but it's not a what I like deal on this board. It's really a adhering to the Science of water fasting. You'd find much more in the way of affirmation on the fruit juice or Master-Cleanse boards. And the way you are breaking your fast is not an optional "I feel okay" issue. The method you are using is sabotaging your efforts and not healthy. And by the way, there is no corrolary between voluntary Water Fasting and starvation (in any country).
