Hi Mujper, I am fasting for weight loss. If you look at my previous postings you will see how my fast has evolved between day one and today. I too intended to have absolutely nothing but water for my entire fast. I kept waiting to feel better, like I had been told I would. It never happened. Finally, I said this is not working for me and decided to take supplements. Now its working for me. After all, I'm here to lose weigtht. I don't feel I have to live up to anyones expectations but my own. And I am certainly not going to feel guilty about anything. Only I know what is best for me. That may not be what is best for someone else. Today is day 19 of my journey, 6 days since my last meal, and I have lost 14
lbs. My face is looking much thinner, my husband commented on it yesterday. I have lots of energy and feel great. I feel like I could do this indefinately now. I don't know what I would have done without the vitamin and the molasses, but I'll tell you its sure nice not feeling ill all of the time. So go easy on yourself, if you have to take a vitamin or some supplements to feel better, do it. It's better than quitting the fast. You only fail if you quit, and even then you will still be lighter than you were when you started the fast, so realy, there are no failures, only varying degrees of success. Keep up the good work,and best of luck. Hang in there and don't quit, but don't feel bad if you have to change your rules a little as you go along either. Only you know what works for you.
