Re: Chronic scalp folliculitis

Hello everybody!

Once I said to myself if I ever find a cure for that disease, I'd tell everyone. I'm 26 years old and from Germany. "Ostensibly" I'm suffering from that illness since Oct 2011. To make it short: I haven't find a complete cure yet, but an improvement of my condition by 95 to 99 percent!!!

My personal story:
In Oct 11 I went to a private clinic in Cologne with a fire-red scalp and many pimples and spots on it. They suggested a shampoo called "Terzolin" and a solution with erythromycin in it. According to a script of the laboratory, my pimples were sterile. Therefore the Doc concluded I must suffer from FD. But surprisingly both treatments worked wonders! Consequently I continued using them. After two weeks my scalp was clean. Until today I don't suffer from any hair loss.

After a flashback during a summer I went to a dermatology in Kassel to get a second opinion. There they took a tissue sample from my scalp. The result was complete healthy skin flora. As the Doc couldn't explain, she finally agreed with my former Doc, because the symptoms were still there. She prescribed "Minocyclin" I should take, but I refused to do so. Since my pimples continued to increase, I started taking it for two weeks: A fatal mistake! After those two weeks I had a brutal break out. My scalp was dotted with new pimples and I couldn't even sleep on a pillow. After weeks of searching for solutions I wrote down 22 pages with treatments I've found on the internet. I started to take Minocyclin for 10 weeks again. After stop taking it, I started with the following treatment which helped me so so much:

- Day 1: Wash your hair with Stieprox (stieprox intensiv shampoo) and let it sit for 3 minutes. Then wash out. After that, wash your hair again with Stieprox and rub it in your scalp. Let it sit again for 3 minutes and then rinse it out. Blow-dry your hair - finished.
- Day 2: Wash your hair with Head & Shoulders shampoo (any sort is ok) and let it sit for 3 minutes. Then wash out. After that, wash your hair again with Head & Shoulders and rub it in your scalp. Let it sit again for 3 minutes and then rinse it out. Blow-dry your hair - finished.
- Day 3: Same as Day 1.
- Day 4: Same as Day 2.

If there is still some itching I spray some ionic- Colloidal Silver (40ppm) on it. Sometimes I also spray it in my nose as the Staph. aureus live there.

Since Jan 2017 I'm 95 percent pimple-free. If the current situation is forever I completely fine with that.

I hope this post reaches a lot of people who are in need of help!!

Cheers
