I was on accutane (generic) for 9 months. Hated it more than any other drug ever created. Towards the end of my treatment and for a while after my scalp was good....then it came back. But I'll never go on that drug again. A prescription multi-vitamin called Nicazel is what I take now - scalp is ok (not great) but I can live with it. Good luck to you. I hope it works for you.
