Your doctor is crazy it is not safe nor a good idea to live on Antibiotic your going to kill and probably already did kill all your good bacteria which will open up a whole other can of worms and doxy only hides folliculitis once you stop it comes back full force some tims folliculitis is even caused from taking to much Antibiotics which is called Gram-negative folliculitis I been suffering from scalp folliculitis since I wuz 15 I'm now 17 I wuz on all different types of Antibiotics and creams you could think of and even tryed home remedies and all kings of over the counter shampoos and creams and alcohols nothing ever works it's a night mare it ruined my life I don't feel human any more it's embarrassing it's painful it's gross it's bloody it's crusty it's plan he'll on earth all Drs and specialist and dermatologist are a wast of time there no help they'll do anything to keep you as a patient to keep makeing money off of you I recently found accutane on google I asked my derm and he sent me to get a blood test and I passed it so I'm on my 9th day of accutane today so far everything's ok only dry lips sore bones and dry skin by the way I'll be on a 5month course of accutane I'm hopeing this will work it's my last option I took cultures and everything came back negative no Bactria no staph no nothing so I'm hopeing accutane is the way out of this horrible life destroying skin disorder my heart gos out to all you suffers with folliculitis stay strong and hope every one finds a cure Tweet
