Re: New to water fasting - Asking for advice
Thanks for the replies!
@Archus, my bad, maybe this wasn't the best place to post the message since it's true that I'm not having distilled water only. I can see why this is important from a detox point of view, but for losing weight, it should still be called fasting, since 0 calories is still 0 calories...
Anyway, I'm well aware of the importance of the refeeding period as well as the lifestyle changes that have to be made afterwards. I have been obese since I was 6 yo. I know exactly what I need to eat, I just need more self-control. I was actually heavier than 258 lbs (my peak was 280 lbs) and I slowly went down to 240
pounds over a period of almost a year. However, Im living alone, working part time and going to Uni, and I recently had some problems (failed first year of Uni, lost job) and I started to eat too much again. When I went to the scale a few weeks after that, I found myself at 258 lbs and I felt like I just lost months of progress in a couple of weeks. Worst feeling ever. So I said f*** it and went rogue by entering fasting..and here I am!
