All I can say is a lot of mischief goes on under the guise of supposedly being filled with the Holy Spirit, and appearing drunk as they did in Acts.

Maybe John Crowder is also being filled with the Holy Spirit while smoking the baby Jesus. He says he is. And all his followers believe it. So I guess we should believe it too?

Did the people in Acts go around talking about how "toasted" they were? I must have missed that part if so. And when the people in Acts received the power of the Holy Spirit, were they just rolling around on the floor, talking about absolute nonsense, laughing hysterically, yelling out whoooaaaaaaaa! over and over, twitching, smoking the baby Jesus, or were they actually having real manifestations of the gift of tongues and prophecy as a result of the Holy Spirit filling them? Were they doing something very important as a result of the Holy Spirit filling them, such as preaching the gospel to all those there speaking different languages, or were they just wasting people's time while rolling on the floor, etc?
The Holy Spirit is always purposeful! To attribute nonsense to Him is just as dangerous as what you accuse me of doing, which I am not doing anyway.
