Yes, I agree with you. Benny has said many crazy things. That's why I don't listen to him much. Usually if I listen to him he has a guest on and I want to hear what is said. I never heard Benny say the above, but I wouldn't put it passed him.

I didn't say that your beliefs came from Peters or MacArthur, but from ministers like them. I have no idea what teachers you have listened to in the past.

I didn't know that Peters and Joni Eareckson Tada chased after ministers for healing. Only God can heal. It is better to be a God chaser. Men can pray for you only, but if you are healed it is God who does the healing. I believe the gifts of the Spirit are for today, but when someone is supernaturally healed, I believe they are healed by the power of God as He chooses at that time.

Yes, some do seem to operate more in some gifts than other people, but it boils down to God doing the healing as He chooses in the end. That is why people who claim the gift of healing cannot pray for just anybody and they are healed all the time. I don't know all the reasons why and I don't think anyone does, not even Tom Fischer who made a video trying to explain it away as sin in people's lives etc. Watch out Tom, you don't want to judge with logs in your eyes. I remember doing that once and I got judged by someone else looking at me with eyes full of logs. Yes, the Bible says that will happen to us. If we judge falsely we will be judge falsely by others.

If a minister operated in the healing gift all of the time he could go into a hospital and empty the place out. We know they can't do that. I'm not saying that this will not happen in the future, but if it does it will be at God's choosing and it will be God doing the healing. It also explains why God will heal one person of one ailment, but leave that same person with another ailment. Now that one is really hard to come up with reasons why God would choose to do that.
